World of Warcraft feedback

Ethan Edwards  Feedback
What did you think of my model?
Your model was good because all the faces were clean and you kept the model to a 6000 polycount. It could have been textured or have added more detail to certain parts of the mesh.

What did you think of my initial ideas? They were good however there was not much to support your idea but overall I could tell what you what you wanted to design.

Do you think it fits the target audience?
Yes it did because I could tell it was for a world of war craft kind of game because the charter was a low polycount and simple.

What did you think of my model?
I think that you could have added textures, however the model is very clean and I can tell what kind of character you where aiming for dude to the fact that your concept showed that.

What did you think of my initial ideas?
You could have done some more ideas to back up your character however overall I could understand what you were aiming for.

Do you think it fits the target audience?
Yes because it looks like a world of war craft character and you have kept it to a good polycount with a overall round clean mesh.

Chad Greenway Feedback
What did you think of my model? I thought it represented the thought of a lizrad well and the muscle
tone looks effitiant, however you could have added a scale effect to make the character pop out.

What did you think of my ideas?
I thought you understood the task and what you had to aim for, however  you could have added and developed some more ideas then just focusing on a lizard character

Do you think it fits the target audience|?
Yes defiently because you kept it to a 6000 polygon count, the mesh was clean and didnt need to be retopologized and it looked like it would fit in the world of warcraft enviroment taht you were given.

Blizzard Project Research

The Blizzard project is where you have to design a character for the game World Of Warcraft. The project consists of a character model with a budget of 6000 polygons and one 1024x1024 texture for the finshed charcter. The charactert has to fit into the World of warcraft envirmonet called Durotar. This enviroment is desert and a canyon looking place. The colours of World of Warcraft are simple but have a varitey so i will have to use that style when creating my textures when UV mapping.

This is a High Detailed Resolution image which helps to reffer to when coming up with inital ideas for my charcter.

I then started look into other world ofd warcraft character and how the models look to help me to refeere to when i do mine. This is a npc from world of warcraft which is from the place durtoar.  This is a pc with the game and you can tell my the image that the model has a very low polygon count due to the fact you can see the vertexs on the model. This made me realise that 6000 polygon count is a good mount to make a model for world of warcraft.

I then started to look at animals which come from a desert / rocky enviroment and the most common animal was a lizard which straight away grabbed my attention and me sketching now some ideas to help me be a bit more creative.
