Matthew Carofano does the art work for Skyrim, Fallout and may more . He is one of the greatest concept art designers for game industry. He uses different style of art methods to express his imagination onto paper. he uses pencil paint watercolours and many more. Matthew Carofano comes up with all of the characters and landscapes for games and help them progress further into the game industry.

This is one of the concept art pieces he did for skyrim. He used water colours and paint for this piece of concept art. He used this method of art to add the affect of the dragon flying and the flames to make them blend into the picture. I think that this piece of art work is aesthetically pleasing and has been created with the right method of art such as the water colours. The colours of the art which Matthew Carafano has used, brings the art work to life and set a scene in the game. The picture gives you a warm felling because, how he has used the orange and yellow to create that and the blue and the much more dark colours to give you a cold affect. He has also used other colours for the dragon so it looks like he is flying at a fast speed across the landscape.


Banksy does street art around the world. His art is very interesting because of how he used just pray paint to express his art. His work is mainly in dull colours so it stand out on walls around the world.
This is a piece of Banksy art. It is very unique and different then any other street art, he uses just
black and white colours which are dark and lighter colours for the background to make the darker colours stand out more.

His art is very simple and basic, however he brings the image to life by using dark colours and light colours for the background. His art is very unique, so it is easy to distinguish between other graffiti art work. This is an example of a piece of Banksy's art work. As you can see the colours are layout how I described them and the background is lighter.

Overall I think that his art work is different and that he uses a lot of different techniques to express his art in the street. The colours his uses are great for street art and can inspire people to do art in the future. 

 The dark colours give it a 3-d effect which is eye catching and grab the audience attention. Even though the colours are dull the image is very aesthetically pleasing because of how it is on a street wall.

Science Fiction Mood Board/Evaluation

Science Fiction is an genre that is made to make everything look futuristic. Science Fiction bring everything to another level, and makes everything around you seem duel  and boring. Science Fiction is used in lots of media such as, the gaming industry, film production, advertisement and many more.

In Science Fiction there are many types, such as cyber punk, hard science fiction, soft science fiction, military science fiction, apocalyptic and many more. These ones that I have listed are some of the main types of science fiction that are used in most types of media.

Cyber punk: is a science fiction that sets the future and is all about technology and hacking. These are some examples of cyber punk. The Matrix film, iRobot film and the author William Gibson writes Cyber punk boots. There are many more however these are some of the most popular. Each of the examples have a futuristic theme and have a lot of computers and technology in them.

Hard science fiction: is a science fiction that is different than the other. This type of science fiction goes into detail about the future but more imperturbably the science in day to day life, and how it as and will evolve in years to come. These are some examples of hard science fiction. Blade runner film, alien film, also the author Kim Stanley Robinson writes hard science fiction books. These examples have futuristic content in them and are about technology and what technology can evolve some quickly and become powerful.

Soft science fiction: is a science fiction which is not so detail such as hard science fiction. It is more about story telling and imagination. Some examples of soft science fiction are Tron film, Riddick films, also the author Orson Scott Card writes soft science fiction books also the star wars films.

Military science: is a science fiction which is based around weapons and technology. Military science fiction bring military these days to a new level, so the weapons for example would be futuristic and maybe shoot (laser beams). This type of science fiction is one of the most popular types. These are some examples of this type of science fiction. Halo the games, Mass effect games, Star trek films, also the author Jack Campbell writes military science fiction books.

Apocalyptic science fiction: is a science fiction that is based around the future of the earth and the possibility of what could happen to it. This is more about reality and not so much about technology it is more serious. These are some examples of apocalyptic science fiction which the media has used. The last of us game, 2012 film, gears of war games.These type of science fiction is also about natural disasters and how science fiction, (future) has an effect on it.

I have learnt about different types of science fiction and how all the different types have different purposes. This will help me come up with ideas because I understand how science fiction works and what types i can look at to give me inspiration.
